The New Year Bash

Here begins the future
A future of joy and happiness

At the stroke of twelve at midnight
We are up for a journey to future

Our past is left behind
With no tears to shed
Now we are on to future,
On to the joy and happiness of life

Our mind is set for new days,
The days we aspire to be good
Our new life begins just at time,
The time the clock ticks twelve

Like the sun rise on the sky
With a bright shade of orange
We all can wait for the New Year to be
Bright with colors of joy

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I've been looking over all your blogs; you're so fascinatingly creative! Do you do all of those cakes, and vegetable arts, and pencil arts and stuff yourself? Hail to the queen of beauty! They're amazing! Mom #2 and I were click click clicking like fiends, LOL.

Femin Susan -

Your poems are lovely. Thanks for visiting my blog. I absolutely love the picture on your blog title - it wouldn't happen to be the Japanese Gardens in Portland, OR would it?

Susan, that's MY kinda thinkin'..just continue on the peace, the happy, the serene, the compassion, the fun, the love of 2008. For me, each year just keeps getting better.

LIVE life!
LOVE life!

Steve

BTW, I 'used' to write like this:
1958:
I was alone and lonely.
Also I spoke to no one,
And the world seemed a strange place
Etc., etc.

Nice work.
You might have inspired my to continue writing, and to post, my poetry.
Do you recommend keeping one blog just for that purpose? I have 4 blogs on the go as it is!
