Well Deserved !!!

Every thing you need
Will not be yours
Some just can be
But some never could be

If you did not get the desired
Then is not deserved by you
This is a simple fact or reason
That makes you happy or sad

You may get the one not deserved
Because you desire for it much
Desire brings what not deserved
But what we deserve won’t bring desire

There our life is truly engulfed in
With two facts desire and deserve
These are ones which build a life
Whether smart or shy could it be

Sometimes, we desire most that which will not bring us happiness. And sometimes we get things we really don't deserve, for good or bad. So maybe desire and deserving both have nothing to do with happiness.

It's great when our desire turns out to be what all believe we deserve! I enjoyed visiting your blog and reading your poetry!!

Maybe it comes down to belief. ?

Do we fully believe that our desires and wishes will come true.

Perhaps if we believe we deserve something, we have met certain criteria or hoops that we have ourselves jump through in order to allow our desires to come true?

For instance, many people believe in suffering, therefore they suffer. They stop suffering when they pull themselves up and out of the idea of suffering through what ever means we dictate for ourselves. Did we desire to suffer? I think we did on a deep unconscious level. Did we deserve to suffer? It depends on what rules and beliefs we live by.

Just food for thought.

If we just live in the moment desire and deserving are moot points.

Hi Susan,
I like this, it makes one think about desire, the emotion that has brought ruin to so many. I hadn't thought about it the way you wrote here, hmmmmm, something to think about.
God bless,
Fred

I think you have a very valuable point here. Instead of desiring for many things, if we keep working to the best of our efforts we will become well deserved.

There will be always desires in human heart. We only have to work a little hard and sincerely to ensure that what we deserve is what is our desire.

You wrote in my blog that you feel "sorry seeing all this". I am a little confused here. Is it my blog that made you feel sorry or something else?

Hi Susan,
Enchanting words behind the poem, and I'm pretty agree with it. I've ever wanted to be a gal with some writing poetry skills, but no, I can't. I'm given very strong math skills:)
Anyway no any problem, here bloggyland offers me great food for thought, inspiring poems from talented pens like yours.

Now I'm going to read other poems.
