Far Beyond….

Just within a glance at far
We see till the edge of plane
Beyond the grassy meadows in sight
Beyond the mighty slops down hills.

From the land a glance at sea
Would prove how long you would see
Till the horizon far away
Miles and miles from the bay.

Thus we are to give a glance
At the past that made our way
Just to see the track we came
Whether twisted or straight in line.

This alone could change your faith,
Your track to move ahead in life
Beyond the seas and oceans you move
Up to a flowery path to good.

I love this picture, the colours in the sky and the very vibrant greens. It just draws the eye up the path. Very pretty!

Hi Susan :)

Lovely poem accompanied by a mind blowing photo.

I presume that you are trying to say that lessons from the past will serve as a stepping stone for future success.

Very well composed.

Have a nice day :)

Susan, that IS a neat-o picture, wondering if you are the artist? I'm using it for my desktop background, for a week or so--and so thank you.

I'm not much into poetry, although my wife Anna (http://oneprayergirl.blogspoy.com) does quite a bit of it.

Although your poetry is quite readable
I must say. I don't like the kind where I have to figure out the meaning. But that is MY defect, not amy author's. -grin!

Thanks for visiting my 'log, hope to 'see' you again.

Hi Susan,

Well, my first comment dissappeared, so I'm trying again. Hope you don't get a double.

Beautiful poem and image to go with it. Yes, the past will show us our successes and failures, and we can learn from it.

Thank you for your visit. Hope you visit again.

Happy weekend!
